So many beautiful rocks

Marvin loves to look for beautiful rocks in these hills. When he finds one that is especially fine, he will craft it into a beautiful piece of jewelry. Max (Lena and Marvin's dog) is a big helper!

 Alkali

This is not snow. It is called alkali. It forms when water that has a high mineral content evaporates. But the dessert does get snow in the winter.
Bridge

This is a lovely bridge that runs along a river in the Utah town of Helper.

Here we are taking a bit of a break at this picnic table in the park. Max is nearby.
