11/06/2007 - I'm enroute to Oregon to visit Kim Rickman. I also just learned I am perhaps going to be reunited with...well, kind of my birth Mom - I guess, you could call her that - when I return to Canada in a few weeks! Lorraine Chein is her name, and she designs bears. I understand I was a twinkle in her eye - or something like that...but I am so excited by this news!

10/29/2007 - What's a bear to do when greeted with such a character as this?! This fellow arrived a day before I did to celebrate the Halloween season with Melanie's sister and Mom. He kind of grows on you after a while, actually! Word is they are considering adding a Santa hat and letting him lurk about for a few more weeks. Melanie suggested locking the bedroom doors...and not sending him back in my travel compartment. Fortunately for her; Igor, here, is 6-foot tall, and would not fit. I am having a wonderful time in Michigan where the leaves are turning, and fall (truly, winter as cold as it's been) is in the air! I met Melanie's youngest niece and nephew and we all traveled to a fun place called "Bronner's Christmas Store". 10/23/2007 - We had a fabulous time in Canada with Frieda and Cricket...although Cricket did try to eat us alive! But Frieda, being the conscientious host, took us to the vet for a rabies shot...just to be certain that any future attacks by dogs, cats or any other larger-than-wee-bear creatures did not attack us! We met many of Frieda's friends and explored Elora, her home. We've put together a wee photo show to share highlights of our trip. You can see it by clicking here.

09/29/2007 - Wow! What a crazy, wild summer this has been. I spent some time in Canada, but then made a quick jaunt down to Jersey to ride with Bike Mike in the MS Greater North Jersey Chapter MS 100 mile bike ride. I got to ride on the handlebars! We had an incredible time. Many of the pictures will be available online soon. Due to Bike Mike's dial up connection, we decided it would be easier to send a CD to Melanie back in California. By the way, she has moved. I have a new home-base. We'll update the map with my new home, too. Meantime, you can see pictures from my trip to New Jersey by clicking here. Next stop - back up to Canada and Frieda. She tells fortunes sometimes...we ought to be a great pair!

08/01/2007 - I've been to the Exibition where we went on rides, won some friends, went down a big slide, saw the fireworks, panned for gold, and so many other things I can't even remember them all! I went to see the dinosaur show (Walking with Dinosaurs); and I've been to the beach a bunch of times (ok it's right across the street). I've spent hours and hours in Caren's van; AND, I got tackled by some big football players and mauled by a killer puppy — but I'm ok...and I still have a bunch more things to do this week, like going to the Imax at West Edmonton Mall to see Harry Potter and do some shopping cause that where Caren's favorite stores are. 07/05/2007 - Greetings all! There has been concern that I have fallen off the face of the earth. Not to worry. I am quite fine and enjoying an extended stay in North Carolina. I should be on my way to Canada in the next day or so, but it is so much fun helping Lowell prepare for Back to School Night with his students and selling SnoCones on these hot summer days when he is not teaching or building websites. I hope all of my friends in the States had a fabulous 4th! I am actually looking forward to heading north soon. It has been so hot. Melanie tells me it was 109 degrees back home in Modesto today!

06/14/2007 - I have been to school! And I have learned so much from Lowell's students. We learned about rocket launchers and school lunches. I found out they read a LOT in school...and teachers like ping-pong! I also found out that kids like to pull on my arms! Well, I guess it's better than pulling my leg! 06/08/2007 - I had a fabulous and leisurely trip across country from Utah to North Carolina. I arrived in NC on Monday and have spent a fun-filled week going to school with my host, Lowell, and spending time at his son, Braden's, Taekwondo classes! 05/12-5/22/2007 - (Entered 5/25/2007) I had such a fabulous time in Utah, I have had very little time to write. I will catch up soon, but I am in transit to North Carolina and will have to sneak as much time on my wee-little laptop to update the journal entries as I can, and of course there's the holiday weekend! 05/03/2007 - Corpus Christi, TX USA - Wow, everything is bigger in Texas! I went a gun show, a rodeo and a BBQ. These people are a lot nicer then I thought they would be, and the woman bears are HOT HOT HOT ;) I can't imagine where they hibernate with all the sun and heat??? Plus there are no salmon in the rivers so I'll be back in Norway for sure this winter But all in all, a bear can't complain.

05/07/2007 - Had a great weekend! Spent the day in Corpus Christi at the annual BucDays festival. Saw all kinds of neat things. After eating 10 hot dogs I decided to relax and go to the movies. Spiderman 2 just came out so I headed over to the local movie theater. What a great movie. On Thursday I am go to pack up and head to Utah.. You can see some postcards and even a slideshow here.

04/28/2007 - We have had a wonderful journey and are now safely back at Darce Jean's home in Arkansas! We spent a few days traveling throughout Switzerland, including a trip to the top of Mount Titlis in the Alps! And we walked in a tunnel through a glacier! We also spent some time in the wonderful, historic town of Lucerne. It has been a memorable leg of the trip for me. And a lifetime of memories for Darce Jean. She will be putting together a special website of her trip soon, and I will be sure you can see a link to even more pictures! For now, I have added a few pictures here. Monday I will pack my bags and head for Corpus Christi, Texas and the Mecca for all Ambearsadors! I will spend some time with Scott and the folks at Coffee Cup! For now, I am just spending a relaxing weekend with Darce Jean as we recuperate from this fabulous trip!

04/23/2007 - Yesterday a guard, today, I am King! We went to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey...even took a trip on the London Eye. The only sad thing about today is that Inger is leaving us at this point in the journey. But Darce Jean, her family and of course the Lucky Bear (that's ME!), are all going to Switzerland tomorrow!
